Your pay rate will depend on your years of service.  Please make sure you let us know of any changes to your qualifications or years of service.

Timesheets

You will receive a timesheet book when you start with Austra Health.  Contact us when you need a new book.

Once on assignment, simply complete your timesheet, with each shift being entered as it is worked using a new timesheet for each shift.

Payment

Timesheets must be received by 11am Tuesday for payment on Thursday of that same week.

Agency nurses are paid on a weekly basis.  We will electronically transfer the money into your nominated bank account.

Communicating your availability

Let us know if your shift preferences change, i.e. you prefer mornings, a mixture of evening and night shifts etc, and we will do our best to accommodate your preferences. 

Communicating with Austra Health

Make sure you contact us if:

• You are available / unavailable to work
• Your name, contact details or banking details change (these changes must be notified in writing)
• Your assignment is completed earlier than anticipated or is being extended
• Your duties change from the original assignment
• Our client offers you a permanent position
• You are injured in the workplace
