Austra Health provides specialised nursing services to coordinate placements from single agency nursing shifts through to managed international recruitment campaigns. Our team of experienced recruiters and administrators bring a genuine customer focused service to our clients and nurses.

Our consultants are available from 5:00 am to 10:30 pm seven days a week.  As experienced nurses, they are well placed to provide support and assistance to our nurses and clients.

With a dedicated pool of registered nurses for agency and contract work in Melbourne and throughout Victoria, we provide a range of nurses from specialty to general. Austra Health offers our candidates opportunities to work in public and private hospitals, homecare and medical clinics. We supply nurses & midwives in:

• General Medical & Surgical Specialties
• Critical Care: ICU, CCU, ED, NICU & PICU
• Midwifery & Special Care Nursery
• OH&S

Ongoing Training

Prior to assignment all nurses are required to undertake assessment in:

• Basic Life Support
• No Lift and Manual Handling
• OHS and EEO Induction (via online tutorial)
• Emergency Management (via online tutorial)
• Drug Calculations and Administration Test

All Austra Health nurses are provided with uniform shirts and are briefed on our expectations of their dress and conduct on assignment.
