Processing Time 

The Nursing Registration process can take anywhere from 2- 12 months, so if you are keen to travel as soon as possible, you should start your Nursing Registration application immediately.  It is also essential to have valid Nursing Registration before a sponsorship visa application can be finalised, so if you are registered overseas early applications for Nursing Registration are essential.

Mutual Recognition enables you to apply for Nursing Registration in Australia if you are already Registered in New Zealand without having to duplicate the initial application process.  The process requires less documentation and can often be granted on the spot, if you make your application in person.
